What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate Portuguese or Intermediate English

Between 21 and 34 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Beyond the practical tasks, this is a skill-sharing environment. Volunteers are welcome to share skills they have (languages, organization, creative ideas, community building, etc.), and there’s space to learn from each other in a collaborative, respectful setting

Activities & Shift

The help needed is mainly hands-on and practical, especially as the space is coming together. Tasks may include

- painting
- assembling furniture
- maintain the cleanliness and organization of the house
- welcoming guests
- communicating with the building doorman and supporting daily coordination.
- help with shopping at local stores for household items
- ordering supplies
