The experience
We’re based in Sagarejo, Kakheti, and are looking for an independent volunteer to support our small winery/campsite during a quiet winter period in February. This is a calm, responsibility-focused role suited to someone comfortable with cold weather and rustic living. Tasks include checking the property and wine cellar, caring for our cats, monitoring stored vehicles, and light gardening. Ideal for someone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay.
What you offer
2 hours of help per day
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Pet Sitting:
Taking care of and looking after pets.

You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

This is a quiet, winter role at our small campsite and winery in rural Sagarejo, Kakheti. February is a slow, peaceful time of year, and the focus is on responsibility rather than workload. The role suits someone independent, comfortable with cold weather and rustic living, and happy with a calm routine and plenty of downtime.
Activities & Shift
Tasks are light and spread throughout the day rather than fixed shifts.
Activities include:
Checking the property and wine cellar daily
Feeding and checking on our cats
Being available if someone arrives to collect or leave a stored vehicle
Occasional light gardening or outdoor tasks (weather permitting)
Most days require only a few hours of attention, leaving ample free time to relax or explore the local area.
Accommodation and food are provided. Living space is simple but cosy, with an outdoor bathroom.
Rules
You must be comfortable living rurally in winter and managing your time independently
Reliability and good communication are essential
This is a low-structure role — you should be confident handling small tasks without supervision
Respect for the property, animals, and quiet environment is expected
This role is best suited to someone who enjoys calm days and a slower pace
