The experience

We are looking for a friendly volunteer to help keep our ecotourism house tidy and welcoming. You’ll assist with common areas and guest rooms, 25h/week with 2 days off. Private heated room, meals included, kitchen access, and e-bikes. Join us in Vió, in the Spanish Pyrenees, and enjoy a peaceful, nature-connected experience while supporting a warm, caring volunteer community.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate Spanish or Intermediate English

Program Details

As a cleaning volunteer, you’ll help us maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests and volunteers. Your main tasks will include tidying common areas, guest rooms, and shared spaces, ensuring everything is clean, organized, and ready for visitors.

You’ll be part of a small, friendly team, contributing to the smooth running of our ecotourism house. Your work will directly support group cohesion and mutual care, making everyone’s stay more enjoyable.

Hours & Schedule: 25h/week with 2 days off, flexible within the team’s needs.
In return, you’ll have a private heated room, access to the kitchen, meals included, and electric bikes to explore the mountains and trails around Vió.

This role is ideal for volunteers who are responsible, friendly, and enjoy helping others, while experiencing a slow-living, nature-connected retreat in the Spanish Pyrenees.

Activities & Shift

We wake up, have a light hike and then have breakfast. Afterwards, your shift will start: helping us cleaning common areas and rooms will be your duties for the day. Since there are only 4 rooms and usually not fully occupied, you will also be helping the other volunteers with some cleaning.

We will gather together for lunch and discuss activities for the group to do during the week.
