Teach English & Support Community-Based Tourism Development


The experience

We welcome volunteers who enjoy teaching conversational English and sharing ideas with the local community. Volunteers support community-based education and tourism by assisting with simple English classes for children or youth, informal learning sessions, and cultural exchange activities. They may also share ideas to improve visitor experiences and responsible community-based tourism. Daily activities are light, flexible, and collaborative.


What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 11 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: The daily contribution covers basic living and operational costs, including simple accommodation, three local meals per day, utilities, and maintenance. It also supports educational materials used during activities, with learning resources remaining in the community. This non-profit initiative sets the fee solely to ensure sustainability and accessibility.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

This volunteer program supports community-based education and responsible tourism in a rural village. Activities & Shift

Volunteers usually help around 3–5 hours per day. Activities may include assisting with informal English sessions, cultural exchange activities, and sharing ideas to improve communication and visitor experiences. Schedules are flexible and discussed together, depending on community needs and daily activities.


Rules

Please respect local culture, community values, and shared spaces. A positive attitude, clear communication, and flexibility are important. Alcohol, drugs, and disrespectful behavior are not allowed. Let us know in advance if you need time off or have special needs.
