This program is designed to nurture basic civic sense, social responsibility, and environmental awareness through simple daily actions and community interaction. Hosted at Prakriti Sutra in collaboration with Taoveda NGO, the program focuses on creating awareness not through lectures, but through lived experience, participation, and mindful observation.

In a world where connection with nature, community, and public responsibility is slowly fading, this initiative encourages individuals to relearn respect for shared spaces, natural resources, and each other.

Activities & Shift

Participants and volunteers will engage in activities such as:

Cleanliness drives (local paths, public areas, river-side awareness)

Waste segregation & composting practices

Plastic reduction awareness

Respecting public spaces (roads, water sources, community areas)

Basic civic behavior: responsible tourism.

Community interaction & discussions

Creative methods like art, storytelling, posters, and shared conversations

Rules

Volunteers at Prakriti Sutra are expected to treat the space as a shared home and community environment, not as a hotel. Respect for nature, people, and shared resources is essential. Cleanliness in personal and common areas, proper waste segregation, and conscious use of water and electricity are part of daily responsibility.

Volunteers are expected to contribute 3–5 hours of sincere help per day, be punctual, and communicate openly if they are unwell or unable to participate. The work exchange is based on mutual respect, cooperation, and willingness to support community and NGO activities.

The space follows a vegetarian and substance-free policy. Alcohol, drugs, smoking, and vaping are not allowed. Loud music, disruptive behavior, or actions that disturb the peaceful environment are not acceptable.

Respect for cultural differences, personal boundaries, and local community values is expected at all times. Photography of local people or NGO activities should only be done with consent.

By staying at Prakriti Sutra, volunteers agree to live mindfully, act responsibly, and contribute positively to the community and the vision of Prakriti Sutra and Taoveda NGO.
