Volunteers will support the planning phase of a 2–3 acre permaculture farm by developing a detailed Excel sheet listing all required items and equipment for farm establishment, including land preparation, water systems, soil regeneration, energy, housing, tools, and maintenance. For each item, volunteers will conduct a cost–benefit analysis, comparing alternatives based on cost, durability, environmental impact, local availability, and long-term usefulness to identify the most suitable option. This work will help create a practical, data-driven decision tool for building a resilient, low-cost, and sustainable permaculture farm.
