The experience

We are looking for 2 skilled, hands-on volunteers to help assemble a sauna kit at Agger Hostel, located between sea, fjord and Thy National Park.

The sauna is a pre-purchased kit, not a custom build.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English

Over 24 years old

Program Details

We are looking for 2 confident and hands-on volunteers to help us assemble and set up a sauna at Agger Hostel, located between the sea, the fjord and Thy National Park on the west coast of Denmark.

The sauna is a pre-purchased kit, not a custom build.
Important: We do not have building or construction experience ourselves, so it is essential that you are able to read manuals, plan the work and take responsibility for the building process. You do not need to be a professional carpenter, but you must be comfortable working independently and solving practical challenges along the way.


Activities & Shift

Tasks:

Assembling and setting up the sauna (kit)

Planning and organising the building process

Communicating with the host during the project

Light preparation of the area around the sauna

This experience is ideal for someone who:

Has experience with construction, carpentry, DIY projects or similar

Can work independently and take responsibility

Is practical, solution-oriented and cooperative
