Program Details

Our volunteer program is all about creating a warm, social and welcoming hostel experience. As a Reception & Social Host, you’ll be part of a small team in a newly opened hostel in Mirissa. You’ll interact with guests daily, help with reception tasks, and support social activities. We value good energy, responsibility, and teamwork. In return, you’ll enjoy a relaxed beach lifestyle, meet travelers from all over the world, and be part of a growing hostel where your help truly makes a difference.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers work around 22 hours per week with flexible shifts, mainly in the morning and early evening. Tasks include welcoming guests, check-ins and check-outs, answering basic questions, keeping reception organized, updating the activity board and WhatsApp group, and helping organize social activities such as family dinners, game nights, beach trips, or sunset drinks. Occasionally, light help at the bar during social moments may be needed.
