The experience
Join our family kitchen and experience the heart of Polish home cooking. Tasks are adapted to your interests and skills and may include food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping fresh ingredients), plating and serving meals, and basic kitchen support like tidying up, dishwasher help, and compost or trash handling.

What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Cooking:
Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.
Bartending:
Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.

Program Details
Accommodation: Private or shared guest room with bedding and towels.
· Food: Full board (3 homemade meals per day) with our family.
· Exchange: Accommodation and meals in exchange for help, with a maximum of 25 hours per week.
· Transport: Free pickup/drop-off from the nearest major airport (Warsaw) or train station. Free rides to the transport hub on days off.
· Long-Term Bonus (1 month+): Contribution towards a local Polish language course.
· Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, chopping fresh produce for traditional Polish meals.
· Plating & Presentation: Helping to arrange and serve dishes for our guests.
· Kitchen Support: Basic post-cooking tidy-up (wiping surfaces, helping with dishwasher, taking out compost/trash).
· Baking & Cooking: Depending on your skills, you might assist in making pierogi, bread, or soups.
No professional experience needed—just a positive attitude and interest in food!
Activities & Shift
kly Hours: A maximum of 25 hours, spread over 5 days. This averages to about 5 hours per workday.
· Daily Routine: Help is scheduled around meal preparation times (e.g., 9:00-14:00 for lunch service, with breaks). We'll agree on a fixed, predictable schedule together.
· Days Off: Two consecutive weekdays off (e.g., Tuesday/Wednesday) to travel or relax.
· Flexibility: If some days are lighter, others may be slightly longer, but we will never exceed 25 hours per week and will always respect your time off.
