Hello, we are Fatima and my brother Hassan, an Amazigh family from Tagounite in southeast Morocco. Hassan is a local desert guide, and our family has lived in this region for generations. We enjoy welcoming volunteers to share our daily life, culture, and the simple rhythm of the desert.

What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Program Details
We start the day with breakfast and work together in the morning when the weather is cooler. After lunch, there is time to rest or explore the village. Evenings are calm, with tea, conversations, short walks, or time under the stars.
We live and eat together as a family and share homemade Moroccan food. Volunteers can learn how to prepare traditional dishes like tajine and couscous.
Accommodation is simple and traditional, with basic beds in shared or private rooms, a kitchen, a toilet, and a bucket shower. A traditional ,There is space for campervans, pets are welcome, and we have a rooftop to relax and watch the stars.Volunteers help us with daily life at our family kasbah, such as feeding animals,helping with making mud-bricks.. cleaning, simple maintenance, and helping my brother and friends with daily work. We usually work around 3 hours per day. In return, you will experience real local life, Moroccan culture, and enjoy the calm desert and oasis around Tagounite.
