House renovation

The experience

I'm a farmer and i use the winter Time to do some renovation in the house . There is a bit of farming job as i still need to feed all the animals but it's mainly renovation so you have to be familiar with construction . Not nesesary qualify but at least abal to use tools . There is some electricity . Plumbing ,puting plaster wall . Jointing. Teiling ... Also destruction stuff .no big stuff as carpenting or concert

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner French or Beginner English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Usualy i feed the animal in the morning. It take me about 1h then i come back to the house and get going on the renovation . I let the helper diside what and when they want to do stuff

Rules

You got to clean after your self . We had some cultural problème like eating with mousse open and not flusing toilette. We juste ask for the Minimum
