Help Sustain a Beautiful Remote Lakefront Lodge & Cottages

The experience

We have a beautiful property on Lac-Des-Quinze, QC, which has been in our family for over 45 years. We have, over time, converted/updated the various cottages, but there is still always more than enough work to accomplish during the summer and also to prepare for the cold off-season months. We are looking for skilled people who are both interested and understand our plans. We offer excellent opportunities for venturing inthe remoteness when off.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We offer accommodation and great home-cooked meals in exchange for a good, positive spirit in helping us achieve our tasks. We love the exchange with our guest volunteers as we, too, have been abroad for many years and have great experiences to share.

Activities & Shift

Activities will include gardening, carpentry, trail construction, clearing wooded areas, etc., for 5 hours per day, 5 days per week.
