The experience

Worldpackers at RAVT Innovation Centre support daily storytelling and digital outreach. You will take photos and videos, write short stories, and help manage social media while engaging in community activities. Days are a mix of field work and creative tasks. We expect openness, respect, and a genuine interest in community led impact and sustainable development.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: The ten dollars cover basic living costs at the centre, including meals, safe shelter, and access to clean water during the stay.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fluent English or Beginner French

Between 18 and 79 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Worldpackers at RAVT Innovation Centre are expected to support content creation and storytelling that reflects our real work on the ground. Tasks include photography, short videos, basic editing, writing simple stories, and helping manage social media channels. Volunteers will engage respectfully with community members and follow ethical storytelling practices.

In return, RAVT provides a safe, welcoming environment, cultural exchange, learning opportunities, and clear guidance on daily activities. We value commitment, professionalism, and mutual respect. This is a collaborative experience rooted in learning, service, and shared responsibility.

Activities & Shift

Activities
• Take photos and short videos during programs and community activities
• Write brief stories, captions, and updates
• Support social media posting and basic engagement
• Organize and archive digital content
• Join daily activities and community sessions

Shifts
Volunteers work 4–5 hours per day, mainly in the morning or early afternoon. Schedules are flexible and planned in advance, with time for rest, learning, and cultural exchange.

Rules

Worldpackers are expected to respect our community, culture, and shared spaces at all times. Consent is required before taking photos or videos of people. Alcohol and substance use during work hours is not allowed. Keep the space clean and follow agreed schedules. Open communication, honesty, and respect for everyone are essential.
