The experience

“Volunteer project 15 km from central Kathmandu in a peaceful rural area with stunning views. Volunteers help repair and maintain an abandoned house to restore it for future community use. Tasks include basic renovation, cleaning, and upkeep. Participants should be understanding, adaptable, clear in communication, and comfortable with simple living and basic facilities.”

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 5 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: The fee collected will be used mostly for food and utility payments.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

We have never hosted a volunteer here in this project, so we would like someone who will be able to guide us to perfection, as we will highly respect your opinion.

Activities & Shift

Daily activities might not always be the same, as there is a range of things to be done in the property, but I can assure that volunteers will not be overworked.
Any kind of improvements and ideas from volunteers will be respected.
what I'm willing to make are:-
1) Fireplace in the garden.
2) a small space beside the house to enjoy the sun and observe nature.
3) Water tap and shower in the bathroom.
4) work with electric connection around the house.
5) Make small tables or something with sticks or wood we find in nature.
6) Make a flower garden around the house.
