The whole team was very welcoming and sweet, I did the night shift in the hostel, the hours are a bit tiering since it's from midnight till 8pm, but I worked only three nights a week so it was super chill. The manager Belen was very nice and very flexible when I asked to have the weekend free for a trip🙃 The guests were also very sweet at all times. The only thing I'd recommend for the hostel, would be adding a water filter, but there's a kiosco 24h very close to the place, so I could buy water every day. In general was a very good experience😁

Hostel “the hostel” in the hostel, Buenos Aires, felt like home. I planned to stay a month but stayed three! The location is perfect, near the beautiful the hostel Cemetery. Volunteering here, making breakfasts with medialunas, and meeting amazing people made it unforgettable. Highly recommend!

I loved my stay at the hostel. Great location with very friendly staff. The living spaces are clean and I always had access to new bedding. The hours are decent but be prepared to work night shifts that last into the morning. Everybody I met was very welcoming and the tasks are straight forward, the only area of improvement I would suggest for the hostel is to encourage punctuality within the team :) Nonetheless, if I could do it again I would! 🫶✨

I had a really great time at the hostel but the work was not my favorite. The night shifts were very tiring and for the cleaning shifts expect to be cleaning bathrooms, showers, etc. However aside from the work, I had a great time with the others volunteers and guests in the hostel, and Belen the manager was also really great! Good experience for meeting people but tasks definitely take a toll.

The experience of the hostel was ok. Actually I had a great time during my stay there but that was because of the other volunteers and guests and friendships we made along the way. Don't expect a real "family" vibe from the paid staff, but if you are lucky like me you will have great people to volunteer with which would make it all worth it.

I had a great time at the hostel hostal! At first I had to get used to the night shifts, but after a while I was able to thrive on them. After a month of volunteering at the hostel, it was very tempting to stay longer because the place, the people and the city felt like a second home. All the hostel staff contributed to this feeling, especially Belen, who really did an effort to make me feel comfortable and showed me the most delicious Argentine sweets. Also, a big shout-out to the other volunteers who became good friends and with whom I got to share a great time. Hasta Luego P's!

This was my first volunteer experience and it was everything i could have wished for! The staff was truly amazing and i felt at home as soon as I entered the hostel. The tasks are super easy and you have a looot of free time to visit all the beautiful places in Buenos Aires. I am truly sad that I have to leave, I wish I could have stayed longer. I made friends and family for life and nothing will ever compare to my time in this hostel. I recommend this program to everyone. Thank you for everything <3

I loved my time at the hostel!! The team, especially Belen, is amazing and really made my time special here !!I also connected well with most other volunteers and made a friend for life <3 The work is super easy, and even fun, hours are respected and flexibility and clear instructions are given. The location is amazing too, I always felt safe in the hostel during day and night time. I'm beyond grateful for the time and the people I could meet:) Buenos Aires will always have a place close to my heart && I'll come back for sure

Belen, Barby & Celeste were friendly and helpful, and patient as I practiced my Spanish. The work was simple and well explained - for me it was generally 2 night shifts (check ins & buzzing guests through the front door), 2 breakfasts (3-4h), and sometimes a cleaning shift (2-4h). It's a beautiful old building, although in need of a little TLC (e.g. more kitchen equipment). Quite a chill hostel - 50ish beds but not too many people around when I was there. Not many English speakers so good for immersion. Especially enjoyed the roof terrace in the sun ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a great experience at the hostel! The shifts are agreed on beforehand and the schedule very flexible. The hostel is not the most social, but very cozy and in a good part of Buenos Aires, where I felt home instantly. Thank you to the whole team!
