The experience

We're looking for passionate people to come and volunteer with us in our local primary school in Senegal.

We need volunteers to teach English, French and Art to children from ages 5 to 12.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Donation to project

Description: An additional fee of €10 per day is requested, covering three daily meals and costs related to the school and the host family (gas, electricity, supplies, etc.). In return, you will enjoy authentic local experiences, some free visits, and others at local rates. An airport transfer is available for €60 per trip.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Program Details

We are a welcoming local family dedicated to helping our community by offering English and French classes to children in our school. With the support of Matt in England, we are looking for volunteers who are passionate about sharing their skills and culture.

In exchange, you will not only contribute to children’s education but also experience the warmth of Senegalese life—learning traditions, food, and daily life directly with us❤️

Activities & Shift

📅 Schedule: Monday to Friday, around 5 hours per day.

Morning (3h): Classes with younger children—teaching French, drawing, or other creative activities.

Afternoon (2h): English lessons with older children and teenagers.

Evenings: Time to relax or join us for local activities like football matches, shopping at the market, or learning how to cook Senegalese dishes with our family’s mama 👩🏽‍🍳.

Weekends: Free time to rest or join us for excursions—our home is close to the beautiful Saloum Delta, perfect for exploring nature and local culture. 🌴🐚
