🎨🌿 Help with House Painting & Gardening in Ballarat, Australia 🇦🇺

The experience

I’m renovating an old Victorian house in Ballarat, Victoria, and looking for two English-speaking travelers (or a couple) to help with painting the interior and exterior, landscaping, gardening, tree planting, shed and house clean-outs, and general cleaning. 🏡🌱 In exchange, you’ll have a private bedroom with a queen bed, shared kitchen, bathroom and living room, plus food provided.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Assist with painting, landscaping, tree planting, some other general work around the house. 5 days work 2 days off. Hopefully I will get a chance to take you on some local day outtings.

There is also a lovely cat at the property.

Activities & Shift

Approx 6 hours of work per day depending on how quick we get things done. I will be helping and there may be other things identified that we need to do.

A good level of health and fitness is needed is this is physical work. You must have travel insurance. Some skill and a good work ethic needed.
