The experience
We love hosting groups of friends or students! We have the capacity to host up to 63 people at once. Whether you are traveling in a trio or a small group, we have a dedicated guest house where you can stay together and a huge compound for fun games and Ghanaian language lessons. This is a great spot for those who want to work together on construction and rennovation,Teaching Math and English and Childcare.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Painting & Decorating:
Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Child Care:
Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Description:
Volunteers contribute $25 per day.
This covers their full Board Accommodation and meals ( 3 times per day),donation for community development projects, tour trips, Ghanaian language Dangme lessons,24/7 In-country supervision & support,certification and recommendation letter at the end of the program.

Program Details
The Tears of Young Orphans shall stop INT volunteer program focuses on community development through construction & renovation of schools, clinics, and childcare facilities. Volunteers help with building, painting, decorating, teaching, and education projects that empower local children and improve community services. Participants receive accommodation, meals, and hands‑on experience in education, construction, and child‑care initiatives.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers will engage in daily teaching assistance in community basic schools, preparing lesson materials, leading classroom activities, and supporting after‑school tutoring. Typical shifts are 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend community outreach sessions.
Rules
Volunteers must follow Ghanaian cultural norms, maintain professional behaviour with students and staff, adhere to safety guidelines, and submit weekly activity reports. No smoking, alcohol, or inappropriate conduct is permitted on site; proper attire for teaching and community work is required.
