The experience
The Catering volunteer supports daily meal preparation for volunteers and community activities while also helping educate community members on how to prepare a balanced diet using locally available foods. This role includes supporting catering students in local colleges through practical demonstrations and nutrition awareness sessions.

Description:
Volunteers contribute $19 to cover shared expenses such as electricity, water, food, and accommodation. This ensures a comfortable and well-supported stay.
What you get

You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Between 18 and 80 years old

Activities & Shift
Prepare nutritious meals for volunteers and program participants
Assist with food preparation, serving, and kitchen cleanliness
Support simple nutrition education sessions within the community

Promote food hygiene, portion control, and healthy eating habits

Volunteers must treat community members, staff, and fellow volunteers with respect at all times.
Commitment to Duties
Volunteers are expected to carry out catering and nutrition education tasks responsibly and on agreed schedules.
Hygiene & Cleanliness
High standards of personal and kitchen hygiene must be maintained during food preparation and service.
Punctuality
Volunteers should be on time for meal preparation, community sessions, and agreed activities.
Food Safety
All food must be handled, stored, and prepared safely according to basic health guidelines.
