The experience

ONDA Boquete seeks a Guest Experience Volunteer to create a welcoming, social atmosphere for guests. This people focused role suits someone who enjoys meeting travelers, hosting low-pressure activities, and spreading positive energy in shared spaces.

Vibe Setters represent ONDA through their attitude and interactions on-site and in Boquete, while respecting ONDA’s values, house rules, and community standards.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Intermediate Spanish

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Host at least 4 social events per week

Socialize with guests and encourage connections

Explore Boquete with guests and share local spots

Stay present in common areas, bar, and events

Welcome new arrivals warmly

Encourage participation and keep social spaces lively

Answer guest questions and share local tips

Represent ONDA Boquete positively on- and off-site

Communicate with team about events and feedback

Support guest experience tasks as needed

Activities & Shift

This is a fun, social role focused on hanging out with guests and creating a welcoming vibe in our hotel. You’ll help travelers connect, feel at home, and enjoy their stay. Bring the VIBE!
