Program Details

Welcome to a peaceful 4-acre forest park and eco-lodge in beautiful Kilifi, Kenya's north coast (just 5km from town and near stunning beaches).
Since 2007, we've transformed an abandoned quarry into a lush green paradise — the only genuine forest lodge on the entire Kenyan coast! Our reserve is home to blue monkeys, shy dik-diks, colorful turacos/trogons/guinea fowls, butterflies, and more — often spotted from our hilltop restaurant.
As a registered non-profit, we focus on nature conservation, Mijikenda cultural preservation, and supporting community programs through sustainable eco-tourism. We're in an exciting revival phase: rebuilding the kitchen roof, restoring fish ponds, refreshing trails and cottages. Volunteers play a key role in this restoration, directly contributing to biodiversity, ecosystem recovery, and long-term sustainability in coastal Kenya.
Join us for meaningful work in a serene hidden gem — wake up to birdsong, collaborate side-by-side with the team, enjoy cultural exchanges, and relax with ocean breezes. Perfect for eco-enthusiasts seeking real impact!

Gardening & reforestation — Planting native trees/flowers, weeding, maintaining butterfly gardens, collecting seeds.
