Program Details
Our volunteer program is based on simple living, organic farming, and learning directly from a rainforest landscape. We host a small number of volunteers at a time to ensure meaningful engagement and personal interaction.
Volunteers support us with day-to-day farm activities, land care, and small ongoing projects. In return, we offer a peaceful stay in a rainforest valley, shared meals, basic guidance, and opportunities to learn about sustainable farming, ecology, and rural life in the southern India.
This is not a resort or tourist setup. Life here is quiet, nature-driven, and sometimes physically demanding, but deeply rewarding for those who enjoy slow living and being close to the forest.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers usually collaborate 4–5 hours per day, mainly in the mornings.
Typical activities include:
Organic farming tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, composting, and soil preparation
Maintaining pathways, farm areas, and basic structures
Helping with small conservation or land-restoration activities
Assisting with simple daily chores related to farm life
Activities are flexible and depend on weather, season, and ongoing needs. Afternoons and evenings are generally free for rest, nature walks, reading, journaling, or quiet exploration around the farm.
Rules
Respect the forest, wildlife, and local community at all times
No drugs and no loud partying; this is a calm, nature-focused space
Maintain cleanliness in shared spaces
Follow basic safety instructions, especially around wildlife and farm tools
Be open-minded, adaptable, and willing to participate sincerely
Limited internet connectivity is part of the experience. This place is best suited for volunteers who want to disconnect from fast-paced digital life and reconnect with nature.
