The experience

Stay with my two big dogs in our home and give them lots of love and attention. They take morning walks in the desert where the mountains meet the sea, nap during the day and then afternoon walks and an evening outing before bed. You will be fully responsible for maintaining the house and dog schedule while I am away.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Egypt

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

-come at least one day before the dates I will travel
-you will have a private room
-wake up by 6am
-walk 5km in the morning and 5km in the afternoon
-sleep at home every night
-be attentive and affectionate
-independent to care for the home and dogs on your own

Activities & Shift

6am wake up
6:15 sunrise walk
7:30-8 tidy the home and dog care
(Free time, but check in with dogs once throughout the day)
3:30-5 dog walk, dog care
(Free time)
~8pm-8:30 potty break, and bed time
(Free time)

(Schedule is subject to change based on dog needs, sunrise/sunset times)
