The experience

We’re looking for a part-time hostel volunteer in the Jongno–Euljiro area of Seoul 😊
Main duties include guest room cleaning, changing linens, laundry support, breakfast preparation, and keeping common areas clean and comfortable. Basic guest assistance may also be required.

We’re looking for someone reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented — able to work independently and as part of a small team 🤝🧼

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Program Details

Our Resident Manager program supports the daily operation of our guesthouse in Euljiro. This is a live-in position that provides a free bunk bed in a shared dormitory and a pleasant, friendly environment 🛏️🌿

As a volunteer, you’ll help with cleaning, simple breakfast set-up, and basic communication with guests. We’re looking for someone organized, independent, and committed to keeping the space tidy and welcoming ✨

Activities & Shift

1) Cleaning Shift (5 days/week)

🕙 10:00 am – 2:00 or 3:00 pm
Clean guest rooms and common areas (only on your 5 assigned help days)

2) Evening Support (daily, very light)
🌙 Flexible
Reply to messages, answer simple questions, and assist with basic coordination when needed
This can be done while living in the hostel — you can still go out, enjoy your plans, and manage your schedule normally 😊

3) Breakfast Set-up & Cleaning
🍳 7:30 am – 9:30 am

Rules

🚫 Quiet hours must be respected — no noise after 22:00
🚫 No drinking, partying, or inviting friends inside the guesthouse
🧼 Keep all shared areas clean during and after your shift
⏰ Be punctual and complete tasks independently
📩 Notify the host at least 24 hours in advance if you can’t attend a scheduled shift
