Program Details

A Story of Culture, Nature, & Adventure.

REFORESTATION
Climate change is very real. We must make environmental improvements. The "5M Movement" is our campaign to restore the earth's condition. Since 2018, we have been running a reforestation movement with our "5M Movement":

* Menanam (Planting)
* Menyiram (Watering)
* Merawat (Caring)
* Menjaga (Guarding)
* Memanen (Oxygen Harvesting)

WILDLIFE CONSERVATION
Serang Village Blitar is blessed with rich biodiversity.

* Turtle Conservation: We protect sea turtles from extinction. If you're lucky, you might even witness turtle tracks as mother turtles lay their eggs and release their babies into the ocean.

* Mangrove and Tree Restoration: Protecting beaches from erosion and preserving marine ecosystems will save biodiversity.

Talking Indonesian History and Drinking Coffee
We run a simple coffee shop called DIKASIH KOPI. Our tagline is "Coffee, Discussion, and Education." Let's share stories about the culture of your country and mine.

ART, CULTURE & HERITAGE
We balance nature with culture

*Eco Batik: Dita Faisal will introduce you to batik with natural dyes. The batik process includes applying a canting (hand-drawn batik)using melted wax, dyeing the fabric with natural dyes, washing the fabric, and removing the wax. The wax (called malam in Javanese) is traditionally beeswax

*Keris (heirloom), wayang (puppets), and traditional Javanese rituals make interesting stories to share in the evening while enjoying a cup of coffee or natural herbal drinks

*Cooking traditional Indonesian cuisine rich in spices.
