Join the Mohanji Centre of Benevolence in Walpole, WA — a peaceful vegan sanctuary dedicated to conscious living and selfless service. Volunteers help with animal care, gardening, housekeeping, and retreat support. What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

The Mohanji Centre of Benevolence is a peaceful vegan sanctuary in Walpole, WA, dedicated to conscious living, compassion, and community service. Volunteers support daily operations, care for animals, help maintain the property, and assist during retreats. Activities & Shift

• Gardening and grounds maintenance
• Cleaning and housekeeping
• Basic meal prep and kitchen support
• Retreat setup and general assistance

Shifts: 5 hours per day, 5 days a week. Tasks vary by season and retreat schedule.

• Vegan-only food on the property
• Respect silence, cleanliness, and shared spaces
• No alcohol, smoking, drugs, or disruptive behaviour
• Follow safety guidelines and instructions from coordinators
• Be punctual, responsible, and mindful in all activities.
