I volunteered at the shelter and loved every second. Lara is amazing (brace yourself for Scottish banter 😉) and what she does for the dogs on the island is truly incredible. The dogs are clearly happy, well cared for, and showered with love. Daily dog walks and morning feeds are the main tasks, plus fun side projects like building, social media, or improving the area. The hostel has great vibes and it's easy to make friends. Riding a scooter helps since it's about a 10–15 min drive. I'll definitely be back! highly recommend 🐾💛
