Program Details

MK Home is an eco homestay located on a quiet hill, just 35 km from Hanoi. We follow a modern mindful lifestyle: present, balanced, connected to nature but still comfortable and productive. Our space is simple, warm, and designed to help people slow down without stepping away from real life.

As a volunteer, you’ll help us maintain this cozy atmosphere through gardening, small creative projects, carpentry, art, communication, or assisting our local staff. Tasks are flexible and based on your strengths — we value intention, creativity, and calm energy more than perfection.

Activities & Shift

Carpentry & Wood Crafting
• Making small wooden items (signs, plant holders, trays, toys…)
• Fixing or improving wooden details in our stilt house
• Building simple garden items: bins, flower pots, mini shelves, stools

Art & Natural Creations
• Painting signs or nature-inspired motifs
• Decorating cozy corners
• Creating small art pieces from natural materials (wood, leaves, stones, clay)

Staff Coordination
• Coordinating and gently training local staff
• Helping maintain MK Home’s warm, cozy atmosphere
