Program Details

You’ll join a community-development program in rural Cambodia that supports vulnerable families and farmers to build sustainable livelihoods, improve food security and nutrition, and foster community self-reliance. Through work with village savings groups, agricultural cooperatives and demonstration farms, the program helps farmers raise crops, vegetables, fish, and poultry, combining sustainable agriculture, nutrition education, and household income generation.

The program’s overarching goal: empower disadvantaged rural communities to live with dignity, health and stability, strengthening community-based organizations so they become self-sufficient and sustainable.

How to get here?

The easiest way to reach our village is by taking a taxi from Phnom Penh directly to the project location.

Rules

To carry out this role, it’s important that you have your own laptop, as we don’t have an extra one available at the office.
Please also note that we can host only one volunteer or a couple. This means you should be comfortable staying independently, adapting to cultural differences, and communicating in a setting where many locals do not speak English.
