​A mountain life experience in the highlands of Southern Minas 🌄

The experience

Our family homestead is open for volunteers to experience rural life. Our goal is for you to feel like this is your own place, using your volunteer hours to create and take on light tasks as if you were at home—no pressure, just fostering creativity through community living. Activities include tending to the vegetable garden, plants, trees, and general upkeep of the space. (We have pets, so please only apply if you love them too!). 🐾

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: R$ 50 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: Valor dedicado a taxa de consumo de consumo basico de refeiçoes, acesso a internet e energia para melhor acomodaçao dos voluntarios. This fee covers basic meal consumption, internet access, and electricity to ensure the best possible stay for our volunteers.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate Spanish or Beginner English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers
