The experience

【This place is located in Weihai, Shandong, China. It's about 8 hours driving from Beijing. If you landed in Beijing, we will drive there】

Stay in a cozy family apartment in a quiet neighborhood in east coast of China. Just 10 minutes walking to the beach.

You'll help with cleaning, tidying-up and cooking. In return, you'll have free time to explore the beach—and if you’re curious, I’ll teach you speaking Chinese too! 🥢🏙️

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

I speak both Chinese and English, and I live with my lovely cat. It’s a peaceful home ideal for someone independent, tidy, and curious about Chinese culture.

I want you to feel comfortable at home. Your main tasks will include:

Household cleaning 🧹

General help to keep the home organized

Cooking meals (we can cook together sometimes!) 🍜

Computer tasks (help me do some tasks)

🛏️ You’ll have your private bedroom, bathroom with shower, and a balcony. All furniture, bedding, and cleaning supplies are provided.

📍 The apartment is 10 minutes away from the beach, convenient stores, and delicious local restaurants. On your days off, feel free to explore the beach—or if I’m free, we can go out together!
