The experience

Join us year-round for turtle releases and hands-on conservation activities. Enjoy surfing at a nearby beach while contributing to wildlife protection and community sustainability.


What you offer

8 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 20 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: Daily Contribution – $20 / Day Your $20 per day covers: Accommodation (private/ shared rooms ( depend on the available room)) Three meals per day Entry fees to Turtle Park and program activities Reforestation of coastal pandanus trees Turtle patrols and releases (if available) Support for conservation infrastructure and facilities Your contribution directly supports turtle conservation and community sustainability.


What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

Join us in the Volpro Turtle Educational Journey, a unique experience combining turtle conservation, coastal reforestation, and coastal exploration. Participants will engage in hands-on conservation activities, enjoy surfing, and explore the local area while supporting the protection of endangered sea turtles and their habitats.

This program is designed to be flexible, allowing participants to contribute meaningfully while also having time to relax and explore the surroundings.


Activities & Shift

Activities:

Turtle Release – participate in daily releases at 17:30
Night Turtle Patrols – monitor nests and protect hatchlings (optional depending on patrol schedule)
Coastal Reforestation – plant pandanus trees along the shoreline
Beach Clean-ups – maintain clean and safe beaches for turtles
Surfing & Area Exploration – enjoy local beaches and natural surroundings during free time

Weekly Schedule / Shifts:

Total Weekly Hours: 10 hours
Active Conservation Shifts:
Turtle Release: 17:30 – 19:00
Night Turtle Patrol: 20:00 – 02:00 (optional depending on patrol schedule)
Pandanus Planting & Beach Clean-up: 1–2 sessions per week (~1–2 hours each)

Free / Leisure Time:
Surfing, swimming, exploring local areas
Off Days: 3 days per week
