The experience

Hello, I am kalpana Nepal! It is volunteering based homestay. The atmosphere of homestay is very peaceful and you can enjoy both Bhaktapur city in very short distance from here and there is multiple hiking sites nearby. Additionally, you can help in English language teaching, homestay maintenance, in agriculture farm etc. similarly everyday yoga session will be available🙏

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Academy Course Eco Certificate for Volunteers: Basic Concepts

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Volunteers are expected to help in English language teaching for primary schools, yoga instructor, volunteer who can help in tasks inside the homestay ex: cooking, cleaning etc. plus we have activities on agriculture farm as well.

Activities & Shift

1. Volunteers who are willing to teach kids are welcome as ELT tuition teacher.
2. Certified yoga teacher can volunteer for every day yoga session in the morning.
3. People who is enthusiastic for Nepali agriculture farming they can help in agriculture.
4. You can volunteer in website development, page design, social media marketing etc.
5. Volunteers can help in homestay maintenance. Cooking, cleaning, playing with kids etc.

Rules

1. The homestay kitchen is strictly vegetarian. Cooking non-vegetarian food inside the premises are not allowed.
2. Cleanliness should be observed in rooms, bathrooms, and all shared areas.
3. Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited inside the guest rooms.
4. Volunteers are expected to respect the cultural values, traditions, and family oriented environment of the homestay.
