Program Details
Our volunteer program invites artists and performers to be part of our annual event ; Kemah Owah, a 3-day, 2-night nature retreat designed to reconnect people with nature, culture, and themselves.
As a volunteer performer, you’ll contribute to the soul of the event by offering artistic expression that inspires, uplifts, and creates meaningful moments. And also you will:
🌻Collaborate with our team to design simple creative activities
🌻Join meditation, grounding rituals, cultural workshop and other activities.
🌻Be part of a warm intercultural community of locals and travelers
🌻Help set up communal spaces and support light creative preparations
This experience is ideal for volunteers who enjoy nature, slow living, cultural exchange, artistic expression, and being part of a movement that revives local wisdom and strengthens human connection. Your contribution as a performer helps us create an intercultural space where art becomes a bridge between people, cultures, and the natural world.
Activities & Shift
Your main activities may include:
🌻Preparing the performances
🌻Collaborating art with our team
🌻Assisting with simple event preparations (decor, set-up, ambiance)
🌻Sharing your artistic process with the community
🌻Helping with forest clean-up or plant care as part of group activities
Rules

🌻 Be open-minded and supportive in community spaces
🌻Participate in circles and grounding activities
🌻Take care of shared spaces, nature, and campsite cleanliness
🌻Communicate clearly about your performance needs (space, props, instruments)
🌻Bring your own instruments or special equipment if needed

🌻We welcome all kinds of artists, but most importantly:
Come with sincerity, creativity, and a heart ready to connect.
