The experience

I look for help in housekeeping, cleaning and cooking. There are things all around the house and garden that I can need help with. If you have skills with renovation/small reparations around the house that’s a plus :) but not a requirememt. Most important is help for everyday life and sometimes also pet sitting. I have two lovely cats and hope that you like animals and are comfortable with them around.

What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner German

Over 24 years old

Program Details

My guest will be offered a place to stay and will be able to also meet new people from my social network if they wish so. I am interested in foreign languages and speak fluently Finnish, Swedish, German, English and Turkish. If you are interested in practising one of these languages I am glad to help :) I have two cats so I hope you are an animal lover. I enjoy reading, nature, playing board games / chess / cards. If we have common interests we can spend time together doing things we both enjoy.

and have been doing volunteer work in Turkey so I have experience of going and staying with hosts. Since I’ve enjoyed it a lot and met great people that way I want to start hosting as well. Also I have a need for help and I think this is a great way of gaining mutual joy and benefit.

Activities & Shift

Basic household chores like cooking, cleaning and pet sitting. There will also be some gardening in the summer.

Rules
