The experience

We are a small Montessori school in North Bali focused on child-centred learning and independence. Our materials have become worn and need repair. We welcome creative, handy volunteers to help restore wooden items, repaint pieces, and bring materials back to Montessori standards. You’ll experience daily school life and support a project that directly helps local children.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Intermediate English

Under 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

We are a small Montessori school in North Bali, run by a passionate and friendly team. Our school has grown quickly, and many of our Montessori materials are now worn, damaged, or incomplete. We are looking for volunteers who enjoy practical, hands-on work and want to help us restore and improve these materials for the children.

Activities & Shift

Our project is simple but meaningful: repairing wooden materials, repainting items, updating pieces that are incomplete, cleaning sets, and helping us bring everything back to proper Montessori standards. If you are creative, handy, and comfortable using basic tools, you will fit in perfectly.
