The experience

We are an open-minded German–Mexican–Polish family with two boys aged 7 and 9. We live in central Munich, Germany, and are looking for a native Spanish speaker to help with household tasks, prepare meals, play with the kids some afternoons, and housesit some evenings. 🏡✨

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent Spanish

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Ideally, you stay between two and three months, but the minimum stay is 1 month, as our kids need time to get used to you.

You will have your own bedroom and bathroom.
Part of your tasks will be preparing meals three times a week for all of us together (including yourself). On the other days, meals are prepared by us—also for you—and we usually have dinner all together.

For the remaining meals during the day, you can cook for yourself with groceries provided by us.

In addition to free accommodation and food, you’ll get to live in a beautiful city full of cultural life, right in the city centre. 🎭🌆✨

Activities & Shift

These are the tasks we need help with:

-Grocery shopping & keeping the apartment tidy 🧹🛒
-Cooking: preparing simple daily dishes for dinner 🍽️
-Housesitting: staying in some evenings so my husband and I can go out 🌙

Most activities take place in the afternoon, so you’ll have the mornings free. We are quite flexible with schedules.
