I totally loved my stay with Jackie! She is a lovely person, who is fun to be around. Even though it was a stressful time, she managed to make us really good food and always tried to do activities! Jackie always checks on you and wants you to feel good. There are various tasks to do, I loved the diversion in the work. I really recommend to see the waterfall, Souve and if you can Nimes. They are all beautfiul places, but Souve might be the easiest to get to. I will miss being there, with Chanel, Shorty (the two dogs) and of course Jackie. The time there was amazing!

I really had a good time with Jackie Marie, she is very funny and lovely, and makes sure you are feeling good. The place is ok, sometimes is a little messy so try to keep it clean and well organized. I learned a lot about construction with Ash, he is very kind and patient, and is really cool to exchange culture with him. The town is beautiful, I had fun just walking around the streets and watching old people play pétanque haha, you can also go to Sauve, which is a medieval town just 9km from the house and it is stunning to be there.

Mi experiencia de 6 semanas fue muy gratificante en muchos sentidos. Jackie es sociable y se preocupa por el bienestar de todos, fomentando el trabajo en equipo. Además, cocina muy bien y varía los platos, lo cual me encanta. Ahs (perdón si lo escribo mal) es alguien de admirar, una gran persona con mucha paciencia, siempre te enseña cómo hacer las cosas sin lastimarte y de la mejor manera. Las tareas son variadas: organizar, limpiar, preparar mezcla, revocar paredes y más. El pueblo es tranquilo, hice deporte, jugué fútbol, bailamos un poco, nadé en el río, entre otras cosas. ¡GRACIAS!

Pase una buena experiencia con Jackie y los demás voluntarios. Jackie es amable y siempre preocupado si los voluntarios se siente a gusto, se encuentra bien o si necesitan algo. La comida siempre fue deliciosa y variable, y nunca me sentí con hambre o que no era suficiente. En el trabajo era considerada, se cumplió con las horas establecidas, además atenta a darnos descanso entre el trabajo para tomar un respiro cómodo. Además atenta de la seguridad de los voluntarios. En mi estadía mejoré mucho mi inglés, y aprendí habilidades y conocimientos en construcción/remodelación.

Jackie is the absolute best! She's always checking in on you, feeding you the best food, and is the best person to chat with. Work hours are respected and tasks always vary; many projects to do around the big house from cleaning to plastering walls. The area is small and quiet but there are beautiful neighboring towns, a public pool, and a fantastic walking trail viewing the hills and vineyards. You get a lot of free time, ending work before lunch time so I spent my days exploring, reading my book and spending time with the other volunteers and most importantly Shorty and Chanel - the dogs.

The host respected the indicated schedules. In addition, she is very friendly and helpful. She loves spending time with the volunteers and enjoys having good conversations with people who approach her. In my case, I was able to practice my English and I made a great friend because she tries to help you with any doubt or problem you encounter. Her house is located near beautiful towns and is ideal for visiting and doing different mountain routes or even, visiting medieval towns. Thank you very much for your patience, education, and kindness.

I had a wonderful stay at Marie's house. She is very kind and loving; we exchanged many experiences, talked a lot, and I improved my English greatly here. Marie has a huge house and needs a lot of help organizing and cleaning everything. I loved meeting her two dogs, Shorty and Channel—I fell in love with Channel. 😍 Here, you live a typical countryside life, with the sounds of roosters and birds singing, beautiful views to appreciate and photograph. I had a wonderful experience during my time volunteering. The host made sure everything was enjoyable and smooth. I made many new friends and cherished the time we spent together. The food was fantastic, adding to the overall positive experience. Jackie is charming, kind, and has a great sense of humor, ensuring we never had a dull moment. Jackie took us to many places and ensured we knew as much as possible. Highly recommend!

Jackie is a truly amazing person! She always does her best to make you feel as welcomed and comfortable as possible. She's also really flexible with the work, and really open to suggestions, which I think is great. The work can change a lot because there's a lot to do to help, but the hours are always respected. Thanks for everything Jackie, miss you all!

Esse foi meu primeiro voluntariado então tava um pouco nervosa no começo mas fui super bem acolhida. As tarefas são tranquilas e a vila fica a 1h de Nimes então vc consegue conhecer outros lugares nos seus dias de folga. Thank u for everything, Jackie and Sal. Already missing u guys!
