Volunteer in Ella was an amazing experience, i got to meet a lot of awesome people and discover the wonderful area. I got to work with very nice people and i'm glad i got to be part of this journey. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I would recommend this opportunity for everyone!!

The hostel was a great choice! I volunteered in both ella and mirissa and i have to say i really liked being there! Tasks were super easy, basically just had to be social , plan and go on events and just enjoy the trip! Isuru is really nice and caring, and the locations are very good too:) This was my first volunteering ever, and i would recommend it a 100%

Noemi was amazing! Even though it was her first experience as a social host, she was super motivated, friendly, and made everyone feel welcome. She put real effort into connecting guests and creating a fun atmosphere. Thanks for making our stay so memorable! 🙌✨.I’d recommend her to any hostel looking for a social host.

This was an amazing experience, I can't recommend it enough. The work involved mostly just hosting social events at the hostel which was an easy way to meet so many people. The manager Kamal was simply the best. He was so kind and easy to work with.

I had the best time in the hostel! The managers Anthea and kamal where the best and I already miss there energy. The work is just socializing and planning events for the guests. I loved Ella and will definitely come back someday ❤️

Volunteering for the hostel has been easily the best volunteering experience of my life. I volunteered at the the hostel in Arugam Bay for 6 weeks then moved over to their Ella branch. The main manager Isuru and the hostel manager Harsha were both beyond amazing to work for. They genuinely care about you and will help you in any way they can. The work/life balance is also incredible! I highly recommend this experience for everyone and I cannot wait to be back in Sri Lanka so I can return to volunteering at the hostel :)

I had a great time volunteering with the hostel for 3 weeks. Over that time, I worked at each of the 3 locations in Mirissa, Arugam Bay and Ella. While the experiences were all different, I really learnt a lot. I found that the managers were helpful in giving insight and jobs that needed to be done. Things like greeting guests at check in, basic administrative duties, planning and hosting events, sending daily activity text and just generally socialising and creating a good vibe The hours, while flexible, were clearly set and I didn't find myself often working over 6 hours daily :)

I had an amazing month at the hostel, Ella. The facilities of the hostel are excellent, amazing breakfast and the job is easy and flexible. I would 100% recommend this volunteer opportunity. Ella quickly become one of my favourite places and huge part of that needs to be credited to the hostel. Most of the staff are friendly and welcoming, however I had a bad experience with the branch manager of this hostel, which resulted in me leaving the experience early. To my knowledge this member of staff is no longer working at the hostel, but as a solo female, be careful.

My experience with the hostel was overall so nice, they were able to make an exception and take me in earlier than agreed which was very kind. Isuru was always super helpful, never responded late and makes sure that everything's comfortable for everyone at the hostel. Everyone in the staff is so friendly and welcoming, the place is really clean and breakfast is yummy I'd definitely recommend volunteering there if you're looking for socializing and meeting lovely people than this is the place to go💓 Again thanks to isuru everything was great
