Descrizione: The $250 volunteer fee covers accommodation ($80), partial meals ($50), project materials ($45), local transport ($30), orientation and guide support ($25), and direct community contributions ($20). This fee ensures your stay is safe and impactful while supporting Ruiru Sportiff’s feeding programs, charity work, animal care, painting, and cultural exchange in Nairobi’s slums.

Sirimon Route (popular and scenic)

Chogoria Route (lush and dramatic)

Naro Moru Route (shortest but steepest)

Options for:

Day hikes on the lower slopes

Experienced climbers may attempt technical routes to Batian and Nelion peaks

Stay on marked trails only. Avoid shortcuts to protect yourself and the environment.

Do not attempt technical climbs without proper experience and equipment. Only certified climbers should attempt Batian or Nelion.

Carry sufficient water, food, and appropriate gear. Weather can change rapidly at altitude.

Inform your group or guide if you feel unwell. Altitude sickness is common; early reporting is vital.
