L'esperienza

Hi, we are Eric and Nathalie. We are back in our French home after 12 years spent in Canada.
After this long absence the house and yard need a lot of care. It is a 19th century country house with a huge yard and pool.
Mainly we need your help to keep on cleaning the outdoors, Indeed it has been unkept for so long. This is physical work that requires good physical condition.
Inside you may be painting, cleaning .

So yes mainly we need your help with clearing / clearing our yard . After such a long Time away our land has become wild.
Édit: we have done a lot this Summer 2025 ,
We have some small renos projects also ongoing where your help Will be needed , like painting or assisting Eric doing some more technical things , it could be plumbing, électricity ( no skills required, just the good Will to help ) also we may need some help with housekeeping.
Work will be diverse and never boring, and you Will learn a lot in the process


You Must be ok with dogs ,see photos( they are adorable)
About us: Nathalie is a chef , she Will be happy to share her knowledge with you if you are iinterested,
Here it is all about « Art de vivre «  : enjoying Life, and we love to share homemade meals and wines. Our gastronomy is our héritage it is very rich and diverse. You Will be fed very well.
If you are not a foodie or have allergies or restrictions ,that is fine too . I Will cook your favorite food
We live a healthy and slow Life .
Eric is a sailor ( we have extensively sailed in the mediteranean) , a wine lover and a jack of all trades!
Burgundy is home of the most prestigious wines, and is full of quaint villages and médiéval towns. As we live in the countryside you should be able to drive. We Will lend you a car if you need one to go sightseeing. The landcape is beautiful here , Forest , lakes and rolling hills with pastures .
If you prefer to relax by the pool you are welcome to do so
It is a very serene place, and we live a slow life.
Our home Will be your home away from yours and you Will be welcomed as a family member.
We have travelled the world, lived in Canada for a long Time. Besides French we are fluent in english , spanish and understand italian quite well.

We are very flexible, but are dépendent on weather for outdoor work .

Regole

No smoking inside the house please and no drugs
Driving licence is mandatory and abilty to drive a manual car. We Will lend you our cute Little van. ( gaz at your expense)

We live in a beautiful but remote area. You Will need to drive to get around as you can’t rely on public transportation
