This was my second volunteering experience. It is truly an amazing and enriching experience. I had many first experience here. Having the opportunity to cut coconuts, catch and cook fishes to having the chance to cook various Malaysian cuisines all with the view of the beach. Opportunities to interact with people from all walks of life, and unwind on a hammock after a long day. David, the host is a generous man who introduced us into his way of life and trusted us to run it in his absence, perfect for going back to basics.

This was definitely one of the best things that we have ever done! I would recommend it to everyone! The host David is so lovely and funny and very accommodating! They have 6 beautiful dogs who are friendly and playful. It was a very simple and comforting and chilled environment. You wake up and go to sleep right next to the sea on the beach. And the food that is cooked is incredible! You can have so much fun and meet some really amazing people. We had the best time in the week that we have spent here and I would 100% recommend it to anyone who is thinking of applying.

Our first volunteering experience at the host Bar — and what an unforgettable and rewarding one! Spent a week totally off the grid, which was perfect to unwind and recharge. David is a one-of-a-kind host: funny, genuine, and with a heart of gold. He welcomed us into his camp and trusted us completely! The setup is simple and a bit rough, but perfect for anyone who enjoys going back to basics.

Esse lugar é o mais Rutz que você pode obter. Você vai ficar com o pé na areia de frente pro mar e vendendo água de coco e cerveja. É muito tranquilo, mas é bem precário as instalações. Se o grupo de voluntários for legal, você vai curtir. Você pode pescar e fazer caminhadas. Minha maior dificuldade foi a noite pra dormir, traga protetor de ouvido, bastante barulho com os cachorros latindo. O dono é um Chinês bem engraçado e você pode pedir pra ele trazer comida. A experiência vale a pena.

I had a great time at the host with David and the other volunteers. The accommodation is definitely rustic, so be prepared to live simply and approach this volunteer experience with an open mind. Everyone contributes to making the host function between cleaning, cooking, and taking care of the dogs. If you're looking for a place to unwind and try something new, I definitely recommend this experience.

I had a really positive one-week volunteer experience. It was a nice, peaceful place that allowed me to reconnect with a simple lifestyle and nature. The daily presence of wildlife made it special, monkeys were usual visitors, and I could also see lizards and other animals around. Overall, it was a good and different experience.

The place is really isolated from the world, so you should come knowing it's truly a break from everyday life. You need to be comfortable with a basic setup — it's not luxurious, there are mosquitoes and insects, and most of the facilities are outdoors, similar to camping. Once you get used to the simple and relaxing lifestyle, it becomes a great experience to unwind, reconnect with nature, and spend time playing with the dogs. David is a simple, funny host who always makes sure his guests have what they need. I would definitely come back, even though it was a bit challenging at first.

El anfitrión es una playa muy bonita y David es un hombre muy majo! Las tareas son fáciles y tienes mucho tiempo libre. Hay que ser consciente que la playa no tiene cobertura móvil, que en el mar hay medusas (al menos cuando yo fui) y que duermes en pequeñas cabañitas.
