Highly recommend this place and this host for voluntering! Athula and all people are very nice and helpfull, you can feel like in home here. Work schedule is very flexible. Accomodation and food are perfect. Swimming pool, sunset rooftop and the beach right in front of the hotel are the best after work. You can easily go there from Colombo and location is good for additional trips. It was my best experience in similar project!

I had an amazing experience at the hotel. The staff is incredibly kind, and Athula is the most welcoming host you could ask for — intelligent, professional and caring. Everyone took such great care of me during my stay and I really felt part of the team. The only small downside was that I initially applied as a bartender, but there wasn't much to do in that role, so I ended up helping with other tasks. However, I still loved my time there and would definitely recommend it. I also worked in Café Colombo twice, and it's a beautiful place where you can make both cocktails and coffee.

I had a great experience volunteering at the hotel and would recommend it as an introduction to Sri Lanka. Athula was a wonderful host—so welcoming and full of insights about the local culture. He was also flexible with work so I got to do the tasks that I enjoy and can contribute more to. I will miss the lovely staff and the volunteers I met there. Plus, the beach in front of the hotel is extremely beautiful and the food was delicious!

I stayed at the hotel for 1 month, and it was great. The staff are super nice and made me feel welcome. I had a lot of fun with the staff and with other volunteers I met that made my experience perfect. Athula is super flexible, and the work is fun. I did mostly reception, some housekeeping and organized some events for the guests. I also tried new things like bartending in Athula's cafe, and helped in the kitchen at the hotel. The food was great, and I had time to visit places around the area like waterfalls, beaches, and little towns. I couldn't be happier with my experience!!

The experience was amazing! Athula is a great host and we had a lot of flexibility and got to work at the hotel and the cafe in Colombo. The hotel is great and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We got to see many different aspects of the hotel life and choose our tasks ourselves. Our suggestions were welcomed and in general we had an amazing time there and got to see many parts of Sri Lanka. Thank you so much for this experience! We also met also a very good friend that will stay for a lifetime🫶🏻

We had a great experience at the hotel. The hotel space and food was amazing and work tasks were a lot of fun. Athula was an excellent host, he is extremely friendly, generous and always has a smile on his face. When it comes to work he is very flexible and it felt like he genuinely appreciated our input and ideas, offering us a lot of freedom when it comes to tasks and improvements. We couldn't have asked for a better place and host for our first worldpacker experience!

It was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't have made a better choice. Athula is the best host you could have, he cares about us and makes sure we have the best experience possible. He allows you to work in whatever you think you can contribute the most or you can also choose other positions to learn new things, and he is flexible with schedules and days off. The hotel is great and we can use all the facilities. In addition to living in a very beautiful place, you can meet other volunteers from all over the world. I really had a great experience and I am very grateful!! :)

My experience at the hotel was great! You need to look for ways you can help at the hotel. In my case, I volunteered a bit at the reception, checking that the rooms were properly cleaned and organized, social media and also usually on the weekends we go to Colombo to volunteer at the café bar. In return, I got a wonderful room with AC that I shared with another volunteer and 3 amazing meals a day. the hotel is by the sea and you can enjoy the hotel's wonderful pool. Athula is a very kind and generous person. Thank you very much for the opportunity, I really enjoyed it.
