The hotel was my first volunteering experience. I came with a friend, and we shared a room with two other volunteers. The hotel staff was incredibly kind, and the hotel manager was very attentive to the volunteers' needs. My friend and I mainly helped with cleaning the rooms. We also had three meals included every day, and they were always delicious often served as a large buffet, which we really enjoyed. The only downside is that there isn't much to do around the hotel in terms of activities or places to visit.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel :) The location right by the sea is perfect for watching the most beautiful sunsets, the pool was always warm, and we could relax there before or after work. The food was really great on buffet days, but on all other days it could be a bit monotonous. The staff were always super friendly, even if there were communication problems. Work was mostly easy to manage depending on the task (housekeeping, restaurant, or reception). Unfortunately I never worked in Colombo, did mostly Housekeeping. The hotel hast some things to improve, but I'm sure they will.

My experience here was great. Athula is such a nice, open-minded and available person. the hotel has a lot of potential, but there are several things that need to be improved. For example, the cleaning standards and the communication skills of the staff. We were the happiest when there was a buffet! Otherwise, the food was still good, but sometimes not enough. People there are really lovely, always smiling! I should have stayed longer, but I had to leave, and the GM and Athula completely understood me. Go there with a proactive mentality!Thank you so much to all of you, wish you the best!

It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel, the hotel staff very friendly and helpful, working hours fairly easy to manage either houses keeping or restaurant shift so after that you'll have plenty of time to explore around, usually two shifts moring shift from 9Am to 2Pm, afternoon shift from 2PM to 7Pm, sometime they ask to help café Colombo located in shopping center rooftop with stunning ocean view so don't miss it! The hotel was an incredible first volunteer experience. Athula and the entire team are incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help. The traditional Sri Lankan food is delicious and the time spent with the other volunteers was wonderful. The work is simple and flexible, with respected schedules. It generally involves helping with cleaning or supporting the restaurant. Thank you, Athula, for opening the doors to your project and for creating such a special space with such special people. I will definitely be back soon!

Athula è un host fantastico, il posto è letteralmente sulla spiaggia, non potrei che raccomandarlo al 100 per cento, lo staff è come in famiglia! Mi mancherà davvero molto questo posto e le persone 🫶🏻

Without a doubt, the hotel is in the top 3 of the best volunteering experiences I've ever had. It's a wonderful place with wonderful people; I would live there 🤣🥰. Thank you, Athula, for opening the doors of your business to volunteers, and for having such a wonderful and welcoming team. I will miss everyone, the atmosphere, and the traditional Sri Lankan food. For other volunteers the schedules are respected and flexible. The work is also simple and easy to do, usually housecleaning or helping in the restaurant.So enjoy and a real cultural/astronomic experience in this incredible place

Our stay was incredibly perfect. It was supposed to be two weeks, but we extended it to a month. Both the host and the entire the hotel team are extremely kind, courteous, and respectful. Everything was 10/10. The food and accommodations are second to none. Without a doubt, the best volunteer experience we've ever had. Thank you so much, Athula and your entire incredible team. We want to return as soon as possible.

This was a great volunteering experience! We were given a lovely room with the most comfortable bed for the entire stay. We enjoyed trying lots of local dishes and working with the other volunteers. The staff were so friendly and respectdful and the work was very chill. It worked perfectly for us doing this at the end of our Sri Lanka trip as we were content with there not being a lot else to do in the area. Thanks Athula & team. Highly reccomend!
