Worst thing about this is the time here was to short. Really felt a home here. The dogs is cute and what an experience to have Luna on the beach. All the dogs are special. The lokation is perfect 7 min from the beach. There are horses running loss around in the beach. And Sally is just the sweetest host. She answers fast and she really put aloy of time into the dogs. Amazing. Im.in love with this place. Even the Chinese woman in the store so sweet she learned me a new spanish word everytime i came. People are Nice i feel very safe here. I cant recommend this enough.

Para mi la experiencia fui realmente bonita, donde pude conectar con todos esos animales que sin duda me ayudaron más a mi que yo a ellos, siempre llevaré este lugar en un bonito rincón de mi corazón, gracias a Sally por todo lo bueno que haces por estos animales eres un persona extraordinaria y a todos los voluntarios que vienen, y a mis dos compis de estas semanas en especial a kami y Karo. GRACIAS! :)

La experiencia en el refugio me dejó muy conmovida. El corazón atravesado por estos perritos que solo buscan amor. Algunos sólo conocen el maltrato, el abandono y llegan al refugio teniendo una oportunidad para encontrar otra vida. Sally es extraordinaria, su trabajo es incansable para con ellos. Todo el tiempo está pendiente qué nada les falte y por supuesto se ocupa de que encuentren su hogar para siempre. Con respecto a nosotras las voluntarias también siempre estuvo atenta a todo y su trato hacia nosotras siempre educado,amable, amoroso y con una sonrisa. Gracias Sally por tu trabajo!🥹

No tengo palabras para describir lo maravilloso que es este lugar, de hecho, decidí quedarme aún más tiempo porque me he sentido como en casa. Sally es una persona increíble, comprometida con su trabajo, te das cuenta de que realmente ama a los animales y se preocupa por ellos, dedica todo su tiempo y energía en darles lo mejor. Los perritos si. Increíbles y te roban el corazón. El trabajo es súper tranquilo, súper flexible, los horarios te permiten descansar y disfrutar del lugar, la casa está hermosa y totalmente equipada, es cómoda y segura. sin dudas, fui muy feliz 🫶🏻

Mi tiempo en el refugio fue una experiencia que me marcó el corazón. Llegué queriendo ayudar, pero jamás imaginé cuánto me transformarían los días que pasé ahí. Cada perrito tiene una historia, una mirada que te habla sin palabras, y poder acompañarlos aunque sea un poquito es un regalo enorme. Los colaboradores son verdaderos héroes: personas que entregan su alma todos los días, que cuidan, consuelan y luchan por cada vida con una entrega que conmueve. Su fuerza, su sensibilidad y su amor incondicional me inspiraron profundamente. Me voy con gratitud, aprendizaje y con el corazón lleno

Mis días en the shelter fueron super lindos! Muchas gracias Sally y equipo por darme la oportunidad de ayudar. Ojalá algún día tengamos que dejar de rescatar y la gente sea más responsable! Pero por suerte existen personas como ustedes, que dedican su tiempo para ayudarlos y no miran para otro lado! Por eso muchísimas gracias!!!

Nuestra experiencia en el refugio fue hermosa. Desde el primer día nos sentimos bienvenidos y parte de algo importante. Ver el amor y la dedicación con que se cuida a cada perrito fue inspirador. Este voluntariado se trata de ayudar de verdad a los perritos, con amor y sin fines de lucro. Aprendimos y nos fuimos con el corazón lleno. Estamos muy agradecidos con Sally por la oportunidad y por todo lo compartido. ¡Recomendamos este voluntariado al 100%! 🐾 Ojalá muchos más voluntarios vivan esta experiencia.

I'm glad to have spent two weeks at the the shelter. These dogs truly rely on the help of volunteers. You are making a difference in their lives. A few things to note. Be prepared for some dirty work. You're cleaning up after several dogs. The accommodations are next to the dog's living area which means you may be woken up a few times a night. Twice the dogs were surrounding an intrusive crab, so I saved a few crab's lives too. I can't stress how important volunteers are to this shelter. Enjoy beach walks with the dogs and puppy snuggles. Leave with a heart full of gratitude.

It was an unforgettable experience, being in contact with these dogs who only need to be cared for with love and dedication. There are two accommodations. The more comfortable one is used by a volunteer who stays longer, and the other, more rustic, is the one I was assigned. Despite meeting their basic needs, I must say that at first I had a hard time getting used to the insects, since I come from the city where I don't live with them. But if you truly love dogs, this becomes secondary. Seeing their grateful and loving faces every day made every day at this shelter worthwhile.
