I loved learning about Building & going to the beach and partying together during the time off (it's amazing if everyone gets into the mood to share). But it isn't for everyone - be prepared to live simply. Also, the project is a bit remote, so you won't really be able to do your own thing (to the beach by bus is ~1.5h ~7€/way). Be honest: if you truly want an off-the-grid and collaborative lifestyle, this can be enriching. But if you're looking for comfort or independence, or expect to be served, it may not be a fit. Would love to be back to see the updates at the finca, thanks Emilio!

Hermosa experiencia en la finca de Emilio. Un pueblo hermoso en el proyeto, aprendiendo sobre bioconstrucción y permacultural, tiempo en la playa, festivales, fiestas y conocer hermosas personas viajando también. Emilio siempre predispuesto a compartir sus saberes. Súper recomiendo venir

Tuve la oportunidad de hacer un voluntariado con Emilio en el proyeto y fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora. Emilio es una excelente persona siempre dispuesto a enseñar. El ambiente es auténtico y sus hijos son simplemente increíbles El trabajo es variado y se aprende mucho, no solo sobre permacultura y sostenibilidad sino también sobre convivencia y colaboración. Me sentí muy bien recibido desde el primer día y recomiendo esta experiencia a cualquiera que esté buscando un voluntariado con sentido humano y conexión con la naturaleza ¡Gracias Emilio!

Tuve una gran experiencia en este voluntariado, agradezco mucho la confianza de Emilio y la oportunidad de conocer este lugar tan hermoso. Siempre hubo buena comunicación, claridad, se respetaron los tiempos de trabajo sin que se hiciera pesado, sentí libertad para organizarme y siempre fue bien recibido por parte del anfitrión. Sin duda es un lindo proyecto en un lugar muy especial, recomiendo mucho, sobre todo para quienes quieran pasar un tiempo en la naturaleza viviendo de manera sustentable :) muy agradecida!

My stay at the project met my expectations. It is a place surrounded by nature and the conditions are very simple, as you can expect. The tasks were pretty physical but it was rewarding to see the results of your own work. There is some room for improvement in the hosts communication for example when sharing information about other volunteers' arrival. In November there were only a couple other volunteers and the place is not ideal for spending time on your own if that happens to you. But overall the stay was a good experience and I got a change to make friends from all over the world :)

Thanks For your work Helmi! Sad to get only 4 Starts, taking in count that you:
-Arrived late to work between 1 and 1’5h everyday.
-Not follow the instructions.
-Don’t care about communication system.
-Took doble the time for simple tasks as other volunteers.
-Leave your trash on the land with out separating to recicle…
And and…
By the way:
-The land is 10min Walk to Village
-I send you a calendar with arrivals of volunteers.
