The Center was a wonderful experience with lots of connections between people, peace and happiness. Each day there are different activities, I helped in the kitchen, in the grounding and in the café, in the other hours we can participate in meditation classes, retreats and events that happen daily at the Center.

My experience at the temple met my expectations. The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature and nearby sites you can explore. The people at the temple are wonderful, and it's a place full of knowledge especially if you're interested and willing to learn and connect with the community. The activities are not difficult to carry out, and the schedule is very well organized. If you're interested, you can attend classes and meditations during your breaks or on your days off. I also met wonderful people, for which I'm very grateful. So I totally recommend this experience. Thank a lot everyone 🙏✨

This was a fantastic experience. I went through almost all the areas in which you can help and in all of them I learned a lot. It's a very nutritious experience even though some jobs are more exhausting than others. Also all the people is so friendly and generous. The environment they create for the volunteers and customers is amazing.

Wonderful experience! Beautiful grounds, clear expectations, and fun tasks. I was always tired after volunteering, but nothing felt unreasonable. I would love to go back again. I will say that if you're already interested in Buddhism and have background in a particular tradition, it's worth looking into the New the Center Tradition beforehand so you have an idea of what you're getting into. Nothing bad, just perhaps different from what I was familiar with

I had so much fun here, I met amazing people from all over the world, was able to tap into a form of consciousness much easier and quicker than before, the food was amazing and really helped my body and mind, I got to improve my skills in communal chores and self care, connected with people who are really kind and live by the promotions of spreading inner peace, bettered my meditation skills and my understanding of the flow and I think overall was able to break past many blockages personally thanks to the safe and consistent environment. I really loved it and hope to visit the other centers☺️

I really enjoy my stay at the Center IKRC as my first Worldpackers experience. Everyone is helpful and nice, shift hours and tasks are clear and easy. Will definitely recommend this experience and hopefully could come back in the future:)

I had an amazing time at Tara Center, everyone was so welcoming a lovely and met beautiful people. I want to thank specially Ximena and Nathalie who were in charge of the kitchen and household (where I worked mostly) because they were absolutely sweet with the volunteers.

As my first volunteer experience, this location was perfect. The residents are very welcoming and work to create a good environment for all. The volunteers I have met here and the connections I have made were the best part of this experience. This is a great spot to learn more about Tibetan Buddhism and to open your mind to a different way of life. Thank you Tara the Center!

This was my first volunteering experience and it honestly exceeded all my expectations. I mainly helped with household tasks (cleaning), and I truly enjoyed it. Ximena, the household manager, is such a lovely person —working with her was a pleasure and really motivating 💛 The connection with the other volunteers was amazing too; I made friendships that I'll carry with me forever 💕🌼 I also learned so much about Buddhism, which was really eye-opening and inspiring. Oh, and the food —absolutely delicious! I felt welcomed from day one✨
