Overall we had a great experience with great food! The first week we were with 7 volunteers and almost no guests. This led to very little work per person... The first days we also did not have any internet (due to a storm some days before). The second week, we were the only once with lots of guest. We therefore had a lot to do. This was much nicer for us. The day we arrived the hot water broke for the rest of our stay We had the great opportunity to work a day in the rice fields along with the local the lodge community which was definitely the highlight of our stay together with seeing elephants.

Fue una buena experiencia que nos permitió aprender sobre la vida natural y cultural tailandesa. Tawan es muy amable y la cocina Thai es deliciosa. El lugar se encuentra en medio de una zona de santuarios de elefantes por lo que se los puede ver con facilidad. Se tuvo la oportunidad de pasar una tarde alimentándolos y bañandolos. Las tareas del voluntariado no están perfectamente definidas, por lo que es necesario adaptarse y ocuparse de lo que uno considere necesario.

Its near an elephant sanctuary but its not an elephant sanctuary, beautiful views and an amazing working environment either way. everyone is so kind and its a good deal for an nice stay, really good food and company.

Overall I had a very nice experience! the food and accommodation were really good. the elephant sanctuary is amazing and the surroundings are beautiful. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the communication. the host whom I've spoken too was not there so it was just me and one of the workmen. the communication for daily tasks, rules and when I had to do what was not given to me. I just helped with what Taiwan was doing and felt like just following him around (I was also the only volunteer at the moment so it felt quite lonely but the host could obviously not da lot about that)

I had a wonderful time spending a week with Joe and the team, they are a friendly and welcoming crew that I only wish I had longer to spend with. Then I'd probably have had more chance to get organised tasks though I enjoyed whatever task was required on the given day. Hope to see you all again soon!

I really enjoyed my stay there. It was really good to calm down and get in touch with the lodge, but I think it might not have been the best time to go there. I was alone with my host, who took really good care of me, but I could imagine that it would be even more pleasant with more people and more tasks.
