I had such an incredible experience at the Villa. Thank you very much to welcoming me in your family. At first it felt kind of lonely because I was the only volunteer and the hosts doesn't speak English, so it was hard at first to understand what I needed to do and how I could helped them. Let's say sometimes I felt helpless. By the way they are such good people and really took care of me. Pon (sorry if I didn't write it correctly) is a very strong woman and even if we didn't talk to each other that much, it was special spending time with her. The villa will be forever in my heart!

I did lots of different things, which made the experience very interesting. For instance, I helped cooking, cleaning, helping out in the farm and even in the rice field. Even though Por did not speak much English, she still was a great mentor and was always looking out for me. At times it did get a little “lonely” because I was the only volunteer, there were no guests, and Por didn't speak English. But this was a special occasion (Samart is usually around), and it is low season too. But besides that I really recommend it! If you do go during the low season just keep that in mind ;)

I was the only volunteer there at that moment but they were so kind and such a nice hosts! It was hard sometimes the communication (they barely speak English) but we try our best and Google translator was a nice helper. They are 5 min walking from a waterfall and they let me helped them cooking too! It was such a nice experience

She is one of the best volunteers that we ever had by her willing to help and low demanding . Our staff who can speak English wasn't there but she still able to work and help us that's amazing.tjank you so much to understand us and help us

We loved our time here at Spicy Villa :) Bandito is lovely and his English is great so communication wasn't an issue. His wife speaks very little English, but she cooks great food and we were able to talk using google translate. It was quiet when we were here, and the only other girl was a solo traveller who left early with us as otherwise she would've been by herself, so it might be worth asking if other volunteers will be there at the same time, as you do have quite a lot of free time which might be hard by yourself. The wifi also was not working when we were here. We ❤️ spicy villa.

It was a wonderful immersive experience in the lodge. The food is very delicious, and you get to learn how to cook traditional dishes. The working hours are not heavy, and I am very grateful for the experience.💓

I really enjoyed my time here!!! The tasks weren't very clear and changed everyday which is fine, just something to keep in mind. Also a lot less actual farm work like in the dirt, moreso just work that helps keep the place running. We helped cook and clean and we helped fix the plumbing. The hike was definitely my favorite part!! The bike ride was also amazing and the food was absolutely incredible!!!!! I would go back just for the food!!! Everyone was really nice!! The property is also so so so stunning and it was so liberating being able to walk to the waterfall and take a quick shower :))

Tuve una hermosa experiencia en este lugar, el paisaje es soñado, despertarse con la vista a las montañas y dormir con el sonido de las cascadas ha sido de lo que más me ha gustado, al igual que los animales que son parte de esta familia, Coco el perrito sonriente y los gatitos negros, gallinas, patos. Banditto el encargado, Napur y Jho nos han enseñado sobre la cultura el alojamiento y sus alimentos, ellos no piden ayuda, hay que ofrecerse y estar a disposición en las tareas. Es un voluntariado en medio de la Jungla por lo tanto hay bichos y los bungalow tienen lo justo y necesario para vivir allí.

I loved connecting with the lodge, the waterfalls are a five minutes walk down from the house, 10 minutes to the elephants sanctuary if you want to visit them. I enjoyed helping Bandito with everything he needed, he is an amazing person, friendly, kind, honest, very funny and a hard worker. I also had the opportunity to work with Naporn and Hoh from the lodge community they are nice people. I was lucky to have a private room and bathroom . The food is good and mostly Thai . It's really cold during morning , bring enough warm clothes. Thanks Mr Samart and everyone I recommend Spicy Villa 100% ♥️

The spicy villa is a beautiful place. Amazing land in the wild the lodge. Bondito the worker was so friendly and nice, we enjoyed the work (mostly gardening) and the trips and bonding with the village people
