I really recommend this experience, if you want to be in nature and in a beautiful place with a lot of free time, dancing, good food and freedom! Severin is a busy host but he will takes time to get to know you and make you feel comfortable (: We started working early but the tasks are differents and all fun !

The experience had its challenges. The host was kind at first but later asked us to leave earlier due to a “farm event.” On the day we left, it was raining and we had to walk 15 minutes to the bus stop with all our bags, which got soaked. He didn't offer help or reply. The food was a strict vegan diet with only vegetables and grains, no fruits or snacks. The work was hard at times, lifting heavy boxes with no breaks. The room was in poor condition and the internet didn't work there. The host also didn't update the dates on Worldpackers. Don't forget your sunscreen.

I'm sorry that your stay didn't meet your expectations. But I'm wondering what your expectations were of spending four weeks on an organic farm. Physical and simple work is an essential part of growing vegetables and wine, especially since your English wasn't good enough to explain more complex tasks. I asked before your stay whether you felt confident communicating in English. It was very challenging for me, in addition to a full day of work, to explain almost all of your daily needs.

The experience brought many lessons, although it also came with some challenges. The work involved 5 continuous hours without breaks, which made the routine a bit tiring. At one point, I was instructed to sort firewood during heavy rain, even though the wood was already wet — which didn't seem necessary in that situation. During my free time, the environment was more reserved, but I met some great people and I take the experience as part of my personal growth.
